Named after the quadrants Q6 and Q7, the building complex in the centre of Mannheim comprises a base area of approximately 16,000 smq and a lettable space of about 60,000 sqm. Thus, it is currently one of the biggest town-center shopping center building projects in Germany. The urban quarter will be opened on 26 September 2016; it offers a mix of apartments, hotels, retail, restaurants, medical areas and offices. The anchor tenants include Primark, Superdry, Calvin Klein and REWE as well as the four-star superior international Radisson Blu hotel Mannheim; 1,376 parking spaces in a three-storey underground car park complement the property.
Even before completion, the project was awarded with the DGNB certificate in silver.
BMO has acquired the project as part of a club deal off-market for a real estate Spezial-AIF. Seller and project developer was the local Diringer und Scheidel business group.
