The Neucölln Carrée in Berlin changes ownership. Union Investment purchased the local shopping center, centrally located in the Berlin district Neukölln (Sonnenallee/Ecke Grenzallee) for one of its institutional real estate funds with a total of 13,364 square meters rental space and 14 retail units. Anchor tenants of the almost fully let property are Edeka, Aldi Nord and Rossmann. The focus of the shopping center clearly is on FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods), about three quarters of the rental income is attributable to everyday consumer goods.
