The Danish pension fund PFA purchases, in cooperation with the asset manager Domicil Real Estate AG, a micro apartment portfolio with a total of 13 properties and a gross investment volume of more than 252 million euros. Seller of the 1,480 residential units with a rental area of 42,000 sqm as well as 426 parking spaces is a fund of the AviaRent Invest AG. Twelve of the properties will be included in the portfolio of German properties, managed by Domicil for PFA, one residential building is for Domicil's own portfolio. This purchase represents the first investment of PFA in micro apartment sector.
All properties, centrally located, are in Frankfurt/Main, Hamburg, Dieburg, Colgone-Deutz, Weimar, Munich, Hanover, Berlin and Bonn. The largest object of the portfolio is the distinctive apartment building "Hühnerposten" in Hamburg with a total of 353 rental units.
