PROXIMUS INVEST, a subsidiary of Cologne-based PROXIMUS REAL ESTATE AG, has acquired the TRIGON in Freiburg im Breisgau for its healthcare-oriented real estate fund „PROXIMUS Gesundheitsimmobilien Deutschland I“. The property consists of two building parts, which were constructed in 1991 and 1994 respectively, and has a total lettable area of almost 5,400 m². It is located at Lörracher Straße 16/16a in the St. Georgen quarter. The parties have agreed not to disclose the identity of the seller and the price. The TRIGON is fully let, with approximately 60% of the rental space being occupied by healthcare tenants.

According to PROXIMUS, the fund with a target volume of €300 million will be fully invested this year in accordance with its scheduled development. Also advised by Jebens Mensching, PROXIMUS has just received authorization by BAFin in order to start marketing a successor product.
